We've had the pleasure over the years to celebrate alot of special occassions with our clients.  Here are just a few.

Halloween Party 2008

Up in Smoke catered a Halloween Party for Elle Howard on the 31st of October.  Besides the entertaining costumes, the food consisted of Fragrant Thai Meatballs, Smoked Chicken and Jalapeno Dip, Smoked Salmon with garlic aioli, and Herb rubbed pork tenderloin with bourbon barbeque sauce.

 NCCU BLSA Welcome Back Cookout

For the second consecutive year, Up in Smoke was chosen to cater the welcome back cookout for the Black Law Student Association at North Carolina Central University.  The menu consisted of Fragrant Thai Meatballs, Hickory Smoked Barbeque, Grilled Chicken with UIS Barbeque Sauce and White Barbeque Sauce, Smoky Baked Beans and Cajun Penne Pasta with Smoked Onions and Peppers.  Desserts were fresh chocolate chip and oatmeal cookies by Lacey Amos.

HENDERSON BABY SHOWER

Up in Smoke offers congratulations.  The baby shower attendees were treated to a grilled red pepper salad with garlic, olives and capers- Fragrant Thai Meatballs-Smoked Salmon Dip with Assorted Crackers-Pasta Salad with grilled peppers and onions- Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail with Honey Jalapeno Cocktail Sauce.  We debuted out new Smokin' Salad Bar.  Mixed green salad were offered with choices of blackened and bourbon smoked salmon, rosemary-lemon pepper chicken, chili dusted croutons, hickory smoked pecans and julienned carrots.

EVANS & BREUER WEDDING 

Up in Smoke congratulates Denitra Alexas Evans and Jonathon Tyler Breuer who were married on Saturday June 14th at 6pm.  The wedding was held at the home of the bride's mother, Bonita Evans. The UIS Menu included 2 seasonal fruit trays, shrimp cocktail with honey-jalapeno cocktail sauce and UIS Traditional Barbeque Sauce, Fragrant Thai Meatballs, Baby Mixed Green Salad with smoked pecans and chili dusted croutons served with bourbon smoked salmon and smoked barbeque chicken along with roasted red pepper dressing and red onion viniagrette. 

MARRIAH IRBY 100TH BIRTHDAY DINNER

Up in Smoke Catering prepared a delicious dinner for Marriah Irby in celebration of her 100th birthday.  The menu included grilled chicken breasts with UIS barbeque sauce and white barbeque sauce (the white sauce is indigenious to Alabama), hickory grilled vegetables, blackened and smoked catfish, and cajun smoked chicken.

JONES GRADUATION 

Up in Smoke Catering congratulates Chelsea Denise Jones on her June 9th graduation from Charles E. Jordan High School in Durham, NC.  Chelsea will be attending North Carolina A & T University in Greensboro in the fall.  UIS catered her graduation reception with Grilled Jerk and Cajun Chicken Wings, Fragrant Thai Meatballs and Rosemary Peppered London Broil.
